Who are Collective Cleaners?
As of 2025, we are currently in the process of transitioning into a worker owned cooperative. We offer Eco-friendly, local cleaning & gardening services to the River Valley and surrounding hill-towns of Western Massachusetts. We provide high-quality professional services using primarily non-toxic products (including disinfectants CDC & EPA approved to kill coronaviruses), and a high-paying, supportive work environment for our worker-owners and employees. Our team is fully insured and prepared to handle everything from large commercial contracts, to a variety of home cleanings, to rental turnovers and special projects.

Our Story
Collective Cleaners was founded in 2017 by two professional cleaners, Lia Borrelli and Seth Allison. After years working in the service industry, Seth & Lia came together to create the company where they had always wanted to work. We firmly believe that professional cleaning is a skilled trade and the best service is provided by trained professionals who are well compensated and respected. Our core values include providing a true living wage and a supportive work environment for our team. In the summer of 2020, we expanded to offer landscaping & gardening services. In 2025, with the support of the Valley Alliance of Worker Co-operatives, we started the process of transitioning our company into a worker owned operation.
