Job Description:

  • 20-40 hours per week. Full or part time, depending on your preference. 

  • Residential cleanings take place between 9am-6pm, but usually wrap up by 5pm.

  • Commercial cleanings are typically outside of normal business hours, between 5pm-12am. 

  • This position is primarily for residential cleanings during the day shift, with occasional evenings/weekends. Exact hours are flexible.

  • The majority of our work is standard maintenance (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, trash collection, and cleaning kitchens & bathrooms) with occasional initial/deep cleanings. This work is moderately physically demanding.

  • This position begins in March, with a flexible start date.

Compensation:

  • $24/hr starting, with annual raises up to $30/hr.

    • 3-month training & trial period at $21/hr.

Benefits:

  • Paid Time Off: 2 weeks (10 business days) of paid time off per year (Relative to your average number of hours per week).

  • Paid Sick Time: 1 week (5 business days) of paid sick leave per year (Relative to your average number of hours per week).

  • Retirement Benefits: After 12 months of employment, employees are eligible for 3% employer contribution to a 401(k) retirement plan.

  • Paid 30-minute lunch break on days with two or more scheduled jobs.

  • Fully paid travel time between jobs.

  • Additional driving compensation for jobs located more than 20 minutes from your home.

Required Experience:

  • At least 1 year of professional cleaning or 3+ years in another physical trade.

  • 2+ years of experience working as part of a team.

  • 2+ years of experience working and communicating directly with clients/customers.

Other Requirements:

  • Comfort working a physical job for at least 20 hours per week.

  • Ability to carry a cleaning bucket, mop, & vacuum cleaner to and from offices and/or houses & up and down stairs.

  • Everyone must have their own, reliable car.

  • Excellent communication skills, both with our team and with clients.

  • Proficiency or ability to learn Slack & TeamUp Calendar.
